FAQ

What are your delivery options?

Celebration cakes are typically for collection. However, delivery can be arranged if needed, at an additional cost. The cost will be agreed during the booking process.

I always advise that wedding cakes are delivered and set up by myself, in order to ensure safe transport. Some wedding cakes may also require assembly at the venue.

What payment options do you accept?

The preferred option is bank transfer. The details for this type of transaction will be supplied on your booking form.

The funds must have transferred to my account prior to collection.

Cash is also accepted. Unfortunately, we do not currently accept PayPal or debit/credit cards.

How much notice is needed for booking?

Demand varies throughout the year. As such, I highly recommend getting in touch as soon as you can to secure your date.

Occasionally, last minute orders may be accepted depending on availability.

Where are you based?

I am based in Gravesend, Kent. We can supply cakes throughout England. For more information, follow our 'Contact' page.

Do you take a deposit?

All orders and booking dates are only secured with a non-refundable deposit.

Wedding cake orders require a non-refundable deposit of 50%.

Celebration cakes require a non-refundable deposit of 25%.

For cakes booked 12 months or more in advance, a smaller initial deposit may be agreed. The remainder of the deposit will then be due 6 months prior to the date the cake has been booked for.

How do I transport a cake safely?

Cakes should be transported in the box provided.

Please ensure there is adequate room in either your boot or footwell and that the cake is well secured. Your cake should not be placed onto a car seat, as it must be kept on a level surface.

It is important to avoid sharp braking and acceleration.

In hot weather, it is advisable to use air conditioning, if available.

Transport and storage instructions are supplied with every order.
